From camper pioneers to the luxury dual purpose van.
Back in 2021, we started Highlife Campers with a simple idea: to build VW camper vans we'd actually want to own ourselves.
What began as a small workshop turning out basic campers has grown into one of the UK's top five luxury VW camper converters with hundreds of 5* reviews and customers who keep coming back.
Four years on, we've taken everything we've learned and launched Highlife Vans. With our collective 15 years of VW conversion experience, we're now offering a new kind of build for a different kind of driver:
Luxury VW Kombi conversions for business owners and tradespeople who want a daily driver they can be proud of, and a luxury leisure vehicle at the weekend.
No need for a full camper conversion — just a beautifully finished, practical van that works as hard as you do Monday to Friday, and feels every bit the weekend treat when the tools come out.
We're also introducing Transporter panel van upgrades for tradesmen who want the sporty look on the outside, without sacrificing the space and practicality their work depends on inside.

We convert VW Transporter panel vans into fully-appointed luxury Kombis, with full interior & exterior modifications, including rear seating, leather sports upholstery, ambient lighting and the kind of exterior styling you'd expect from a premium VW people carrier.

We then help you source a suitable base vehicle or choose a van we already have in stock. If you already own a Transporter that's even easier.

Every conversion is completed at our UK workshop with the finish you'd expect from a premium converter.
